Schedule for the Day
When you arrive at the Capitol for Lobby Day we will be meeting in the Great Hall in the lower level of the Capitol. We will begin the day with a big Pro-Choice welcoming speech followed by a Legislative Update. From there we will move into our break-out sessions where we will give Lobby 101 presentations followed by a presentation with a Q&A section on Talking About Choice in the context of the community group you have chosen to attend. At 11:00 everyone will gather in the Capitol Rotunda for our Pro-Choice Rally in the Rotunda which will have various community voices and Pro-Choice Legislators! After the Rally we'll gather for lunch in the Great Hall then it's off to our Lobby Visits. For more information about the breakout sessions click here. We will be offering Lobby Coaches to go with people to their visits this year! If you would like to be a Lobby Coach or would like more details on what the Coaches do before you decied please e-mail us at volunteer@prochoiceminnesota.org Pro-Choice Lobby Day is free for all who wish to attend. Due to increased costs, we are very willing to accept donations to help cover the costs of the event.
